How long does COBRA insurance last?
Typically, for 18 months beginning on your date of eligibility. Under
certain circumstances, such as becoming disabled during your COBRA coverage
period, it might be extended. Total coverage under qualifying, extraordinary
circumstances are up to 36 months.
